PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The Alpha-I Bandage is a Compression Dressing used for Severe Trauma and included within multiple Sets, Kits, and Outfits throughout the DoD. The Alpha-I Bandage gives medics and field personnel an emergency dressing for arterial bleeding and hemorrhaging in limbs. The unique Compression Dressing’s design allows for one-handed use under any condition, and designed for use by First Responders, Military, and Law Enforcement; effectively treating all kinds of serious traumas and injuries involving the need for an arterial Compression Dressing. The flat fold designed was purposely designed with the first-responder in mind to ensure the smallest space claim is required.

Extremally small flat-fold design that easily fits into confined areas for additional space
• The bandage has a n 8”H x 10”W pad that can be utilized on a large extremity or abdomen
• The elastic tail is 60” in length with the ability to achieve full compression on a large lower extremity, or circumferentially wrap an abdominal injury
• The “I” Bar creates bilateral top compression achieving a greater pressure area to control hemorrhage
• The unique folding and formfactor makes the Alpha-I Bandage the same side as the discontinued “Thin” bandage that was on the market with the above additional capabilities
• Sterile item with 5 year shelf-life
• Durable 5mil plastic wrapper with easy tear ports ensures durability with ease of opening in emergency situations
